Am I an idiot or what ??

I just bought an Azbox HD premium+ and I'm trying to connect to it using my laptop and a crossover cable with Azboxedit.I don't have a router.It's impossible to connect to the box with XP and 7.

Where can I see the IP-address of my Azbox?

Can't find a tutorial for this anywhere on the web.

The only thing I want to do is to download some fresh transponder lists to the box.

I'm on the latest official firmware.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help appreciated.

Thank's zeini,but there is nowhere to type in an IP in the Network service.Don't you mean home button-settings-internet?

Well,I've tried that and it doesn't work anyway

Problem solved!The IP was wrong.The Azbox IP has to be in the same range as the PC it's connected to.Here is a calculator if anyone should be interested:
