I recently got two premium azboxes, clones obviously and what I see inside is there's a another extra slot for a tuner (disabled) which I then took off from the other box to experiment. After installing the tuner, the box does not recognise either of the tuners which I think is a firmware problem. On removing the second tuner the box resumes back working normally.
This is the box originally with two tuners www.azboxhd.cz/azbox-premium-hd-plus-twin-tuner.html and this is the box with one tuner www.azboxhd.cz/azbox-hd-premium.html, though they have one manual and one firmware, I think it’s in the firmware where it detects what type of box it is and installs the respective firmware. The clones as far as I know do not accept original firmware (well I tried but it didn't work). For now I am using the latest RTi Core DM800HD image on this box (not really happy with it). If any enthusiasts out there are willing to help or can work this out please advise. Check these links for more details.
