VU+ solo

Is there a set up tutorial i can download anywhere to have a read ,ive had a few boxes currently using Tm600 and was looking at tm800hd but this seems to be awaiting a new image so looking at VU+ solo instead just wondered how they set up and what software is used technomate is fairly easy and once image is installed updates cams etc by blue panel
