DVB-S2 USB tuner support

Hi All,

What are the chances VUPLUS would support DVB-S2 USB tuners such as: http://www.tvstick.co.uk/products/productinfo.asp?catid=1&prodid=32?

I would say none as this was tried on E2 with the Dreamboxes. I don't think the test were a success.

VU is not DMM though so i wont say external tuners would never be supported.

I pinged Vuplus support with the question, see what they say.

Seems to Dreamboxes can now use DVBT usb sticks mate but on the new kernel.

The VU DUO is still using a older kernel so i dont think its possible i could be prove wrong though.

kernel is the same or??

Kernel Dream Elite Vu Duo+ con OE 1.5 : 2.6.18-7.3
kernel Dream ELite dm800 con OE 1.6 : 2.6.18-7.3-dm800

And two DE moderator said that they are testing this on VU+. I hope that i understood them correctly.
And because dm800 and vu+ arent the same box, it needs some time. I hope they will implement this!
