Howto setup DM 8000 with twin tuner

Hi!

I have a DM 8000 with 1 satelite, with 2 LNB (Canal Digital and Viasat).
I have installed 2 diseq switches, so i have 2 cables to the dm 8000.
I use a Sif image with cccam.
I have problem seeing 1 channel and record another.

What have i missed?:confused:

Just been curious but why do you need diseq switches, when you have two tuners.
just use simple set-up x2

I have 2 cabled from every LNB to the diseq switches then 2 cables to the DM 8000.
Is that wrong?

Yes thats correct.
When i set it up i was thinking it would be good to have both canal digital and viasat on both tuners.

Is that no good?

So do away with the diseq switches.
connect one cable to port (A) the other to port (b) then set-up one tuner with the settings set to simple/single with no diseq and the other tuner set just the same.
then you can record one channel then watch the other one!
