You can start by reading the documentation on oscam. You can find some files here:

And yes it is possible. Just read oscam txt files from doc package.

Config files paths might be different on kathy I guess.
Although you should be able to use dvb api in kathy and there for you wouldn't actually need mgcamd. You enable it in oscam.conf and just configure oscam.server
Some trial & error won't hurt.
