How do I REMOVE patch from my Vantage X200?

In the past couple of days I have downloaded and installed latest firmware and patch for my Vantage X221TS. But for various reasons (primarily because my receiver freezes as soon as I switch to Thor or Eurobird channels) I would like to remove the patch again. Is that possible? How?

Removing patch: By "the original soft" do you mean the original firmware (I'm new to this whole updating thing)? Will it automatically wipe out the patch when I reinstall the firmware?

Different question: what do you think of the Vantage 7100?
I'm looking for a receiver which can do the same as the X221TS + record a programme occasionally when I know I won't be at home + pause a live programme (e.g. news, studio discussion, etc.) for, say, half an hour then resume playing when I've finished my telephone call.
Can the Vantage 7100 do that?
