Newbie with many stupid questions ..

Have ordered a Dreambox 8000, and is completely new with Linux OS. I've Read about everything from the Enigma 2, OoZooN, Nabilo, and many addons .. My first question is what image should I use and other addons to get the ultimate Dm-8000?

As this is your first Dreambox and a complicated one at that i would go with a user friendly image to start with and then find you way around the Dreambox before going to multiboot.

Id use the nabilo image from here

Thanks for your help guys, but unfortunately learned that my DM 8000 is delayed in delivery. But has begun to collect files and read everything I come over on DM 8000, and CS. trying to get prepared. Download Nabilo_DM8000_PFM_14nov09, Any other good utilz or softwares i should get?
