• Discussion in the Admin room about nightly images, we dont really need or want these posting for the following reasons.

    1. We all know where to get them.
    2. Never have a change log.
    3. The changes if any are not worthy of anyone upgrading there boxes on a daily basis.
    4. They clutter the forum up.

Hello all,

Can any one assist with how to connect a spiderbox 7000HD via ethernet to a Netgear N150 ADSL2+ ModemRouter1000SP ?

I was connected previously with a 'Livebox' and all was working albeit somewhat intermittent stuttering etc.
So hoping when the netgear gets up and running the pitfalls can be overcome, can get lap tops to work okay wired and wireless just having prob with spiderbox.
hope this is in correct section.

should be just plug and play insert the lan cable and your connection line in your receiver, if your trying to read/share your own card you will need to add some rules into the firwall settings in the router.

the intermittent stuttering could be from the server your connecting too or down to internet usage ie downloading online gaming etc etc!

spiderboxs are known to have problems with some netgear routers. make sure your patch is up to date and there are no ip clashes. regards mdt
