clarke tech et5000 picture problem

i have just recently got a picture problem with my et5000 satelite box, i havent touched it since i put the vix image on, about 2 month ago and now all of a suden i am getting green outlines around people and stuff not a full green screen just around things on my lcd tv, i have tried changing my hdmi cable around and still the same, i then thought it could be my tv, but my virgin vhd sat box works fine with the same hdmi cable, so now i thought it could be the vix image being corrupt, so i have reflashed it with the new egami image and still the same, does this sound like the tuner has gone ? it seems the box does get quite warm, but it it is in open space too so it isnt blocked for air, i am now relly stuck with this problem, has anyone else ever had this problem with any sat boxes, and if so was it the tuner fault ?
