The best image for DM500...

So from some time ago i too have a dreambox 500(clone) and BIG THANKS FOR IT to IVAN-IVAN :)


So now i too have a question....

Now i am interesting what is the best image...????
Your opinion pls....

AND ME TOO I M LOOKING FOR IMAGE for MY DM500S THAT CW BE appear

Use the sif image. For your clone box the sif is a stable and very easy to use. You can download everythink you need ( emu, setting, update image) from their panel. As you are at your first steps, the sif image is very suitable for you. Also EDG is strong and stable.

Igor, don't use gemini image, it has a bomb for your clone box.

nabilo is nice image for dreambox

My vote will go to pli-jade..most superb image i ever used.

Have used many and gave up once I've tested EDG Nemesis 4.4
Evolution is unstable, has some of the iritate bugs, poor on addon support etc. but not bad as gemini just give a time to developers it's still new image. No offend to developers

Gemini is not friendly-used-image and because of time bomb avoid all images after 4.2

EGD NEmesis 4.4 with extra url strongly recomended
-very easy to use
-stable and reliable
-crystal picture
-friendly used image

i have tried almost all images ;
edg 4.4 with extra url found the best at the moment followed by sif team in my opinion.

I tried a lot of images. However, I found out that Nabilosat Darkstar II DM500 is the most stable and fastest as well.

I would prefer PLI JADE3.

PLi JADE3 is currently best in all images for dm500 but everyone have own choice

I also give a vote for PLI image . good image also u can watch mpg4 channel via streaming .

I think edg nemesis is the best for a clone

for me gemini 4.20 ..I have it on 2 Dreambox best suits me 1 original and 2 clone .. I tested them a lot.

Most of person is recommending PLI JADE3.
So I think PLI jade3 is best in these days

PLI Jade 3 (The last version) is for me the best.
It is the only image that I can watch and record perfectly from my pc (with vlc) my favorite programs.

For me the SifTeam version 1.93 & 1.94 are the best But it's dificult to install with Gb°x. For watch tv on wireless PC it perfect witn a verry good interface.

Evolution 2.5 is the best !
I try many of them, I reccomend Evolution 2.5 , fast, simply & easy to use...

Install Evolution 2.5 , set network, connect to net, & install what You want, CCCam, games, plugins , tools...

Nemesis 4.4 is stability image, the nice and fast is PLI Jade3 too.

PLI Jade3 is the best for me.It's stable,no problem,so far so good.......

So now i am test only EDG and Pli

So each has its advantages and disadvantages!!!

We are must try everything to see that it is better

For Me The Best Is Evolution 2.5 image.... I've tryed a lot of images ,but just staying in evolution image.... it's a cool one :)

PLI 3 Jade . The rest always have problems.

On my DM 500-s I use the OpenPli version of July 20th. 'till now I'm very pleased with this one and can recommend it to other users...

Just getting started started in this scene, litterally only a few days in. i'm using pli jade but the epg is really not very good, i've followed some guides from google but they havent helped.

any opinions on which gives a better working epg please?

i'm using ccc and a dns plugin on jade.

each image is the same I think that there is no cure

Lot of peoples - lot of preferences, for me both Nemesis and Gemini are goood, depends on needs. Rigth now I'm using Nemesis and I like.

PLI & Nabilo Both are Good & stable for Clones...

I prefer Gemini on my 500, no problems.

in my box I try nabilo, gemini, sifteam, nemesis, evolution and for me gemini is the best of this image becouse I try all this images in clean version without any addon and gemini have more options inside image, also have a best design of clean image....
this is just my opinion, nothing more..... :)

The most powerful is Neutrino Commando 14, but it is complicated, to set up everything, Open PLi is also nice image, with many user definied options :)

Best and fast is PLI Jade3 for clone DM500.

I had the same situation for my DM500 clone.
I tried Pli, Nabilo and here I am back to Gemini (no bomb version of course).
It seems to be the most flexible and reliable, the other ones I had to remove from different reasons, maybe if I was having the patience to dig more with my tries to adapt the box according to my needs and likes, I would still keep them.
So bottom line, I am back to Gemini.
