<START: Sad violin music> Please, please dont ignore my post. I'm not sure where else to turn to. I was just hoping I would get help from someone knowledgeable and friendly. It's my luck that I always run into people who are not so friendly. Even if you dont know the exact answers, even a little bit help would greatly be appreciated; as I have nowhere to go. <END Sad violin music>
I received the Arion AF-2500 FTA receiver from WorldTV/Globecast along with a smartcard; and activated/subscribed a couple of scrambled channels from an FTA satellite: Galaxy 19, 97.0W.
All I want to do is to watch the channels I pay for on my PC using my DVB tuner + CAM.
Is there anyway to use the Arion software/firmware/tools available to somehow help me do this?
If it helps any, I have a phoenix interface. I also have a MagicCAM CAM which is legally capable of decoding nagra channels. However, my smartcard's nagra is married to the CAM inside my Arion AF-2500 box.
EDIT: If there's a guide for dummies to show me how to update the firmware to my Arion-AF2500 to be able to share it's CAM... or use it's CAM for my DVB tuner software on Windows.
